Not to be confused with the Ketchup blog (and certainly not the catsup blog. I would NEVER spell it that way). I don't know why I've been gone so long from blogging. I think sometimes when I watch reruns of TV shows instead of new episodes, it makes me feel less current. Or something. And my daughter has been waking up too early, so not much blogging time there. Today I'll just come up with a bunch of random items of happenings (um, yeah), and then hopefully I can focus the blog to my usual highly focused standards (um, yeah) again soon.
That's me graduating from high school. Aside from being a rather unflattering picture of me, my expression is HILARIOUS. I feel like I should have a caption contest. If you think of one, feel free to post in the comments.
- New basement carpeting is in. All that's left to do is bring all the furniture back, put all of the books back on the shelves, clean out the crawl space, and clean the entire house. Plus the garage. Weeeeee!
- I have decided I don't love when the weather is in the 40s or 50s. Maybe I just don't have the appropriate spring coat. I have tons for really cold, and a few for closer-to-warm, but not the right springtime flava.
- I have started watching Battlestar Gallactica. I'm enjoying it but don't love it yet. There are many likable characters, which is what I normally look for in a show. And thank goodness Starbuck's hair changed after the miniseries.
- I sold back a few books on Amazon, but now I can't find a box to fit them in to ship them back. What to do, what to do?
- Fannie May chocolate marshmallow eggs rock my world.
- This weekend is Passover. Passover is my favorite Jewish holiday. Just so you know.
- While cleaning out the basement, I found a randomly hilarious box of pictures from my life. This is one of my favorites:

I just graduated from high school and all I get is a lousy hand shake. That picture is extraordinary! I love it!

It's almost like you have this smug: That's right, bastard. I won! kinda look going on. Love it!
Yay, Betsy! Congratulations! I hope at least SOMEONE took a picture for you, if not a glamorous, professional one like mine :) And Amber, maybe that is what I'm thinking!
Haha no that was the look on your face! Like "man all that work and this is it?". I'm 31... Far past high school. :)
The fact is that a NORMAL springtime has temps in the 60s and 70s. This 40s and 50s bull crap is ridiculous and one of the things I hate about living here.
I was just telling my husband we need to watch Battlestar. I haven't watched it yet (how did I miss that nerdtastic show??) So if I do start watching it, I'll know who to chat with about it!:)
Hang in there with Battlestar. It's fantastic.
Starbuck's hair gets better and better.
Thankfully, Starbuck's hair is already better. We've had a few show interruptions, so I have no idea when we'll finish it. How many seasons are there?
