I'm sure to you this is appalling and sad, but I don't think I could name one Pearl Jam song :O. I was 9 in 1992 so maybe that's a good (enough) excuse :)
On a side note, I totally keep thinking of about your characters - especially those in Wild Nerd Yonder...
My husband bought me books for our 1 year anniversary... what can I say, we're nerds :) Anyway, one of the books was The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth by Alexandra Robbins.
It is such a wonderful (non-fiction) book and I can't help but relate to all of the 'characters' (they're actually real-life teens though) in the book.
I'm not sure how much non-fiction you (have time to) read, but I had a hunch you'd enjoy it and relate as well.
Jenny, it makes sense that you're younger! I would hope that some of my readers are actually teenagers, you know, the age of the characters in my books :) I either have "The Geeks..." or want it. I have to look at all my stuff. But it definitely is something I would enjoy.
Jen, great to hear from you! I hope to see you next year if this reunion gets off the ground. Sounds like you are doing great! If anything, we will at least have a get together at your bar. :)
I was never a huge Pearl Jam fan.. I mean I can recognize their more popular stuff and they did a cover of Last Kiss that I thought was awesome. But I was uhh 5 in 1992 so any music I was into was me trying to be like my older brothers.
Ooh, more vlogs! I will, except that I have to have something I can talk about and not bore you. Plus, I have to move my kitchen table. And put on lipgloss. It's a big commitment :) I'll try to think of more things to vlog about.

ReplyDeleteGreat story!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie! You made me tear up. I did watch this too, and PJ was one of my faves, so I can relate. Hope you are well! I'm glad to see you smiling! :)
